2019 Summer Solstice Competition Pow Wow

June 22 - June 23

Come celebrate the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival with the Pow Wow! Part of the National Indigenous Peoples Day activities in Ottawa, June 2019.

Don’t miss out! Drummers and Dancers from all across the US and Canada will be competing for over $75,000 in prizes! We’ve also got non-stop family programming…all FREE!

Vincent Massey Park is administered by the National Capital Commission (NCC) and as such alcoholic beverages are not permitted and dogs are not allowed.

The Powwow starts Saturday June 22, 2019 with Grand Entry at 12:00pm, immediately followed by Intertribal Social Dancing and the Committee Specials.

Contest singing and dancing starts Saturday June 22, 2019 and Sunday June 23, 2019!

REGISTRATION:
Saturday June 22, 2019 9am to 11:30am
Registration closes 11:30am Saturday June 22, 2019 in lieu of Drum Roll Call at 11:45am.

GRAND ENTRIES:
