CONFERENCE TOPICS INCLUDE: Panel presentations about History and Legacy, Ontario Jordan Principle Models, Families experiences, plus skill development workshops and more.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES: Waneek Horn-Miller the first Mohawk woman to win a gold medal for rowing at the 1999 Pan American Games & to ever compete in the Olympic games. She was recently inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Family.

FEATURING: Alanis Obomsawin, one of the most acclaimed Indigenous directors in the world. Alanis came to cinema from performance and storytelling. She has created
an extraordinary body of work-of more than 50 films and counting. The Abenaki director has received numerous international honours and in 2019 was named a Companion of the Order of Canada-its highest distinction. Alanis will be providing the Plenary presentation and be with us for screening of her documentary Jordan River Anderson, The Messenger.
