| General Information Wage parity between First Nations employed nurses and their federally or provincially employed counterparts is a national concern. Preliminary work undertaken by the Assembly of First Nations has supported the need for an in depth analysis of nursing costs in First Nations communities which can quantify this wage disparity and evaluate the adequacy of nursing resources funded through transfer agreements.
