TORONTO (April 11, 2016) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day is calling the Attawapiskat suicide state of emergency a tipping point for the First Nation health care crisis in Canada.

THUNDER BAY (April 7, 2016) --- “On behalf of the Chiefs of Ontario, I fully support and endorse the need for Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) to be fully engaged on any future efforts to combat climate change,” said Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day in reaction to a presentation by NAN Deputy Grand Chief Derek Fox at yesterday’s Province of Ontario Standing Committee on General Government at Queen’s Park.

TORONTO, (April 4, 2016) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day will deliver welcoming remarks -- focused on First Nation jurisdiction over lands – at 9 am tomorrow morning at the first-ever Ontario Natural Resources Forum, prior to Premier Kathleen Wynne’s keynote address. The April 5-6 forum is at the Sheraton Centre Hotel, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto.
