TORONTO, ON (Mar 22, 2016) – “Today’s federal budget has finally begun to deliver on much needed funding – $8.4 billion over five years – that should start to reverse the tide of poverty and despair that has devastated far too many of our communities and destroyed far too many lives” said Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day.

AKWESASNE, ON (Mar 18, 2016) – The Ontario First Nations Young People’s Council, in coordination with the Mohawks of Akwesasne, will host its 7th Annual Youth Symposium on Leadership this Saturday and Sunday. With a theme of Reflecting on the Past to Build a Better Future, the symposium will include keynote speakers, panel discussions and interactive activities regarding youth issues and initiatives, bringing together over 100 First Nation youth from around the province.

TORONTO (March 15, 2016) --- Ontario First Nations Young People’s Council, a regional advocacy body representing First Nations youth across Ontario extend full support and greetings to all the participants representing their communities this week at the 45th Annual Little NHL Tournament.
