TORONTO (March 14, 2016) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day says this year’s Annual Little NHL tournament, which has a record-breaking 195 teams registered, creates community and builds unity among  Ontario First Nation communities. It also injects over $18 million into the local economy, which demonstrates the purchasing power of both Indigenous families and the tournament itself.  

TORONTO (March 4, 2016) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day along with other First Nation leaders are calling for the public’s assistance in locating missing student Delaine Copenace of Onigaming First Nation, located near Kenora, Ontario.

 

TORONTO, ON (Feb 2, 2016) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day says he hopes with the start of the second phase of the Youth Inquest taking place this week that more light will be shed on the deaths of seven First Nations youths who died tragically while attending school in Thunder Bay.
